Pakistan’s federal cabinet has given the green light to a groundbreaking international ferry service connecting Gwadar to Oman, marking a major milestone in regional maritime connectivity. The approval includes the country’s first-ever international ferry license, granted to Sea Keepers, enabling ferry operations not only to Oman but also to Iran and GCC countries.
According to the Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs, Pakistan and Oman will soon sign a formal agreement, with an Omani delegation set to visit Pakistan to finalize operational details.
