According to the Ministry of Religious Affairs, a total of 115,391 Pakistanis are performing Hajj this year through both government and private schemes. Out of these, 88,380 Pakistani pilgrims have already reached Saudi Arabia. During their stay in the holy land, these pilgrims are being provided three meals daily breakfast, lunch, and dinner for just 34 Riyals. This service is facilitated by 22 companies in Mecca and 13 in Medina.
Additionally, pilgrims are charged 1,360 Riyals per person for meals. The ministry states that the Pakistani pilgrims are receiving affordable food compared to the open market. Under the private scheme, the number of pilgrims is 27,011.

Regarding the Hajj quota, Pakistan’s allocation this year was 179,210 pilgrims, out of which 63,830 could not perform Hajj. The utilization rate of the quota stood at 64.39%. During Eid, pilgrims will be served traditional Pakistani cuisine, which includes local dishes with water, juice, or Lassi, along with fruits.
The duration of Hajj varies from 22 to 25 days for shorter journeys and up to 40 to 46 days for longer ones, depending on the program selected.
These arrangements aim to ensure the comfort and ease of Pakistani pilgrims during their sacred journey, enabling them to perform their religious duties smoothly and comfortably.
