In a significant move to support educational development and strengthen bilateral ties, Pakistan has announced 4,500 fully funded scholarships for Afghan students across various academic disciplines. These scholarships will be offered in key fields such as Medicine, Engineering, Agriculture, Management, and Computer Science for Undergraduate, MS/M.Phil, and PhD programs.
The scholarships cover:
– Full tuition fees
– Monthly living allowance
– Books and study materials
– Hostel accommodation
This initiative reflects Pakistan’s commitment to supporting Afghanistan’s reconstruction and development through education and human resource capacity building. It also aims to foster long-term people-to-people connections and academic collaboration between the two neighbouring countries.
Applications are expected to open soon through the Ministry of Education and Higher Education Commission (HEC) portals. Afghan students are encouraged to prepare required documents and stay updated for official announcements.
