The new charging station will be part of a multi-purpose fuel and service complex planned within the airport premises.
According to an auction notice issued by the Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA), lease rights are being offered for the establishment and operation of a petrol pump along with an EV charging station. The proposed service complex will be built on Plot No. F-180 C, which covers an area of 4,532 square yards. Officials stated that the location has been carefully selected to ensure easy access for vehicles entering and exiting the airport. The project aims to provide both conventional fuel services and modern electric vehicle charging under one roof.
In addition to fuel and EV charging facilities, the complex will include a tuck shop, a lube shop, a tyre shop, and a restaurant. These services are expected to improve convenience for passengers, drivers, and airport employees. The restaurant and retail outlets will also offer travelers a comfortable place to rest and refresh while waiting.
