The Australia cricket team arrived in Lahore on Wednesday ahead of a three-match men’s T20I series against Pakistan, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) confirmed.
The series schedule is as follows:
- 1st T20I: Jan. 29
- 2nd T20I: Jan. 31
- 3rd T20I: Feb. 1
All matches will begin at 6:00 p.m. local time at Qaddafi Stadium, Lahore.
The series provides both teams with important preparation ahead of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, where Pakistan and Australia are in separate groups.
The PCB posted a video announcement on X, stating: “Australia team arrives in Lahore for the three-match T20I series against Pakistan.”
Australia’s squad update:
Australia has rested five top players—Pat Cummins, Glenn Maxwell, Josh Hazlewood, Tim David, and Nathan Ellis. They have been replaced by Sean Abbott, Mahli Beardman, Ben Dwarshuis, Jack Edwards, Mitch Owen, Josh Philippe, and Matt Renshaw.
This series marks Australia’s third tour of Pakistan since 2022, when the teams played a three-match Test series, an ODI series, and a lone T20I (won by Australia). Australia also played three matches of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 in Pakistan.

Pakistan’s recent form:
Pakistan last played a three-match T20I series in Sri Lanka, which ended in a 1–1 draw after the second match was washed out.
