Hundreds of Pakistani citizens, despite holding valid visas and complete travel documents, are reportedly being prevented from flying abroad, particularly to European destinations such as Greece, Italy, Poland, and Baku.
According to affected travelers, they have fulfilled all official requirements, including paying visa fees and completing necessary paperwork. However, many claim they are being repeatedly sent back from airports and Protector of Emigrants’ offices without their documents being processed. In most cases, officials allegedly cite verbal instructions, with no written orders or clear explanations provided.

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has denied these claims, calling them rumors and stating that there are no formal restrictions on travelers with complete and valid documentation. Despite this, passengers continue to share experiences of being stopped from boarding flights, raising concerns about transparency and consistency in the process.
Until clear written guidelines are issued, uncertainty remains for many Pakistanis planning to travel abroad, leaving them unsure about their ability to depart even after meeting all legal requirements.
