Representing New York Strikers, Amir played a crucial role in his team’s dominant 10-wicket victory over the home side.
Absent from Pakistan’s national squad since leading the attack in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup earlier this year, Amir delivered another sensational spell, showcasing his exceptional talent.
Amir is currently tied for second place among the tournament’s leading wicket-takers, with an impressive economy rate of 7.62 runs per over. His standout contribution came in a must-win match for the Strikers, where he took three wickets, including the key dismissal of England’s Phil Salt, conceding just seven runs in his two-over spell.
