The solar project—featuring a combination of rooftop installations and large-scale solar systems—is scheduled for completion by 2027. According to officials, the joint initiative is expected to save the government nearly Rs 1 billion annually, while helping stimulate industrial growth and reducing dependency on expensive energy sources.

In addition, the Prime Minister instructed all relevant institutions to work in full coordination to ensure stable and continuous power supply in Gwadar. He emphasized that reliable electricity is essential for boosting investment, economic activity, and long-term development in the port city.
