The Embassy of Pakistan in Washington, D.C. has unveiled a bronze statue of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah to mark his 149th birth anniversary, creating a lasting tribute to Pakistan’s founding father on American soil.
The statue was created by Pakistani-American sculptor Aftab Zafar and portrays Jinnah wearing his traditional achkan and karakul cap while holding an open book. The design reflects his intellectual, legal and constitutional legacy.
Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United States, Rizwan Saeed Sheikh, described the monument as a historic symbol of Jinnah’s vision of freedom, constitutionalism and peaceful international cooperation. He also highlighted its significance for the enduring relationship between Pakistan and the United States.
