Former Pakistan captain Sarfaraz Ahmed has been entrusted with a major developmental responsibility by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). He has been appointed to oversee both the Pakistan Shaheens and the Under-19 teams, marking a significant step in PCB’s long-term strategy to strengthen the country’s talent pipeline.
In this new role, Sarfaraz will:
- Supervise and mentor the coaching staff
- Guide training and development plans
- Oversee player preparation and performance
- Manage tour arrangements and team coordination
His vast experience, proven leadership, and deep understanding of the game are expected to greatly benefit young and emerging cricketers.
