Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has expressed deep sorrow and concern over the fire incident at Gul Plaza in Karachi, calling it a tragic event that caused distress to traders and residents in the area. He extended his sympathies to those affected by the blaze and prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured.
The Prime Minister assured that the government would make every possible effort to protect people’s lives and property and directed relevant authorities to provide all necessary assistance to the affected individuals. He emphasized the need for immediate medical care for the injured and instructed officials to ensure that rescue and relief operations were carried out efficiently.

PM Shehbaz Sharif also stressed the importance of supporting traders who suffered losses due to the fire, directing concerned departments to assess the damage and facilitate relief measures. The Prime Minister further instructed authorities to review fire safety arrangements in commercial buildings to avoid similar incidents in the future and to ensure strict implementation of safety regulations.
