Ministry of Foreign Affairs – Qatar confirmed that HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani received a phone call from HE Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran, Dr. Abbas Araghchi, to discuss the ongoing escalation in the region and its impact on security and stability.
During the conversation, Sheikh Mohammed emphasized Qatar’s condemnation of Iran’s continued targeting of Qatar and other countries in the region. He stressed that escalating tensions against nations that have remained neutral in the conflict constitutes interference with regional security and a disregard for stability. The Prime Minister underlined that attacks on civilian infrastructure and the resources of people are unacceptable under any circumstances, urging all parties to respect international law and avoid causing harm to civilians.
