The Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) has officially confirmed that the national men’s football team will participate in the inaugural FIFA Asian Cup, marking a historic milestone for football in the country. It will be the first time Pakistan’s men’s team competes in an official FIFA tournament, representing a major achievement for the nation’s football development.
According to the PFF, the tournament will be held in Indonesia during September and October 2026. Pakistan has been placed in the tournament’s top tier, where it is set to face some of Asia’s strongest football nations, including India, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Thailand.
