Subway Pakistan has issued an official statement condemning the alleged assault on one of its employees at a branch in Multan, reaffirming its commitment to protecting the safety, dignity, and well-being of its staff.

According to the employee, the incident occurred after he politely asked a group of customers not to bring outside food into the restaurant, in line with the outlet’s policy. He alleged that the customers responded by physically attacking him. A video of the incident later surfaced on social media, triggering widespread public outrage and calls for stronger protection of frontline service workers.

In response, Multan Police confirmed that they took immediate notice of the matter and registered a case against the accused under Sections 355 (assault) and 506 (criminal intimidation) of the Pakistan Penal Code. Police also confirmed the arrest of the suspect, identified as Nasir, son of Ishaq, and stated that legal proceedings are underway.

In its official statement, Subway Pakistan said it takes every concern seriously and has referred the matter to the relevant legal authorities. The company emphasized that creating a safe and respectful environment for both employees and customers remains its highest priority.

Subway Pakistan also confirmed that it is fully cooperating with law enforcement authorities and expressed confidence that the legal process will ensure accountability and justice in the case.
