The Makkah pact is aimed at strengthening strategic coordination among the three countries and enhancing their collective ability to respond to security challenges. Pakistani officials have emphasized that the agreement is defensive in nature and is intended to contribute to regional stability rather than target any particular country.

The development comes as Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Türkiye seek closer strategic cooperation amid evolving security dynamics across the Middle East and wider region.
