The financial aid for special individuals in Punjab has been increased, with the sum for the 65,000 registered special persons going from Rs. 75,000 to Rs. 10,000, according to Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz. She also announced the arranged installation of the Himmat Card plan on Wednesday during a ceremony.
The Himmat Card will only be accessible to those who hold certifications for special people issued by the district or tehsil authorities. Every three months, the funding will be deposited into the accounts of those who qualify.
But the Himmat Card will not be available to anyone getting financial assistance from any other government program, such as the Benazir Income Support Program.
With services valued at Rs80.17 million, the Bank of Punjab (BoP) has been named as the Himmat Card scheme’s financial service provider. The Bank of Punjab will get the required information on qualified individuals from the Social Welfare Department.
It is crucial to remember that the financial aid must be taken out within 180 days of the transfer; else, the government will receive its money back.
The Himmat Card project has been given a budget of Rs658.1 million by the Planning & Development (P&D) Department.
