Iranian President Praises Pakistan’s Peace Efforts at SCO Summit

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has praised Pakistan’s efforts to promote peace and dialogue during his address at the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Summit in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.

Speaking at the summit, the Iranian president highlighted the role of Pakistan as a brotherly country in supporting peace and diplomatic efforts. He also referred to the Islamabad talks, recognizing their importance in promoting dialogue and reducing tensions.

Pezeshkian said the Islamabad negotiations would be remembered for their contribution to efforts aimed at achieving peace in the region and beyond. His remarks highlight the growing recognition of Pakistan’s diplomatic role in facilitating communication between countries during periods of regional tension.
