The Government of Pakistan has announced that Sunday, November 9, 2025, will be a nationwide public holiday in observance of iqbal Day, which honors the national poet and philosopher, Allama Muhammad Iqbal.
In accordance with the holiday, all National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) offices across the country will remain closed. This includes their 24/7 executive centers, which will suspend operations from midnight between November 8 and 9 and will resume services at 8:00 AM on November 10.
NADRA Simplifies Process for Obtaining National ID Cards
While physical offices will be inaccessible, citizens can still utilize online services via the Pak ID mobile application for various tasks during this period. The public is advised to plan their visits to NADRA offices accordingly.
