Pakistan Ministry of Foreign Affairs has officially confirmed that the individual arrested in Delaware, USA—on charges of illegal firearm possession and planning an attack—is not a Pakistani citizen but an Afghan national.
According to the ministry’s spokesperson, the suspect, Liaquat Khan, is an Afghan. He was taken into custody after authorities recovered weapons and ammunition from his vehicle and residence. Investigators also found written notes outlining a possible attack on the University of Delaware Police Department.
