Pakistan Condemns Attacks on Iran and Regional Countries at UN Security Council

Pakistan strongly condemned the start of unjustified attacks against the Islamic Republic of Iran, calling them a clear violation of international law. The statement noted that these actions took place at a time when diplomatic efforts were being renewed to find a peaceful and negotiated solution. Pakistan warned that such steps could seriously damage peace and stability in the region and lead to long-term consequences.

Pakistan also condemned attacks on Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Jordan, Kuwait, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates. The country expressed full solidarity with these brotherly nations and urged all sides to show maximum restraint.

The statement was delivered by Ambassador Asim Iftikhar Ahmad, Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, during a Security Council briefing on the situation in the Middle East.
