While praising the Turkish aviation industry’s achievements here on Friday, Federal Minister of Finance and Revenue, Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb, stated that working together in the aviation sector with Turkiye was a crucial component of the two nations’ bilateral ties.
In a meeting with Mehmat T. Nane, the chairperson of Pegasus Airlines, and Muhammad Ali Tabba, the CEO of Lucky Cement Limited, the minister mentioned that cooperation in this area was in keeping with the prime minister’s goal of developing Pakistan’s aviation sector.
According to a news statement from the finance ministry, he also recalled a recent discussion with the Turkish Trade Minister, during which the two sides explored potential trade and economic partnership opportunities.
He mentioned that this meeting was a part of a larger plan to improve relations between Turkey and Pakistan in a number of areas, including aviation.
Mehmat T. Nane gave a summary of the Turkish aviation strategy during the event, emphasising important elements that can help Pakistan’s aviation industry. He went into further detail on how Pakistan may benefit from Turkiye’s experience and knowledge to develop its own aviation sector.
The talks were considered to be quite successful, which is a positive development for Pakistan’s attempts to improve its aviation skills and develop closer business relations with Turkiye.
