The first AI competition in the area was recently conducted in Pakistan, the Meta delegation informed the PM about their services in Pakistan and the Asia Pacific region.
In order to ensure efficient cooperation, the PM gave the appropriate authorities instructions to address any problems pertaining to Meta’s activities in Pakistan.
The sides restated their commitment to collaborating for the growth and advancement of Pakistan’s digital media and artificial intelligence industries.
Shaza Fatima Khawaja, the minister of state for information technology and telecommunication, Jehanzeb Khan, the deputy chairman of the planning commission, and other high-ranking government officials were present at the meeting.
The purpose of the conference was to investigate potential collaborations in Pakistan’s information technology (IT) and artificial intelligence (AI) domains.
PM Shehbaz emphasised throughout the talks the enormous potential found in Pakistan’s digital media and IT industries. He underlined that a record amount has been set aside for IT promotion for the first time in the history of the nation.
