Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif stated that every citizen in Pakistan has the right to practice their religion, emphasizing that no one will be allowed to impose their will on others. He made these remarks while addressing a Christmas ceremony at the Prime Minister’s House in Islamabad.

The Prime Minister said that the gathering was held to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ (peace be upon him), who brought a message of love, patience, and service to humanity. He added that Islam has always taught equality, justice, and fairness.

PM Sharif highlighted the valuable and historical role of minority communities in Pakistan’s development, noting that since the country’s creation, minorities have played a significant part in national progress.

He also mentioned that the day marked the birthday of his elder brother and party leader, Nawaz Sharif, and expressed his commitment to continue supporting the journey toward public prosperity and development.
