The Prime Minister of Pakistan, Shehbaz Sharif, visited the prestigious Command & Staff College in Quetta, where he addressed faculty members and student officers. During his visit, he highlighted the importance of military professionalism, strategic preparedness, and the sacrifices made by the armed forces in safeguarding the country’s sovereignty.
Shehbaz Sharif praised the dedication of the Pakistan Armed Forces and paid tribute to the martyrs who laid down their lives for the nation. He emphasized that their unwavering commitment continues to ensure peace, stability, and national security across the country.
Referring to “Marka-e-Haq,” the Prime Minister acknowledged what he described as the historic success achieved under the leadership of Field Marshal Asim Munir. He stated that Pakistan demonstrated responsible and measured conduct in response to regional tensions, particularly during escalation with India. According to him, Pakistan’s restrained and prudent approach earned recognition from the international community.
The Prime Minister also reiterated Pakistan’s firm stance on national defense and declared that the country would continue to respond decisively to any threat against its sovereignty and territorial integrity. He further stated that operations against militant networks and terrorist infrastructure remain ongoing to protect citizens and maintain internal security.

In his address, Shehbaz Sharif emphasized Pakistan’s commitment to regional peace and stability. He reaffirmed strong diplomatic support for the people of Jammu & Kashmir and Palestine, calling for peaceful resolutions in accordance with international principles.
The visit also highlighted the importance of military diplomacy, especially as officers from friendly countries were present at the institution. The Prime Minister noted that Pakistan is playing an increasingly important role as a “net regional stabilizer,” contributing to peace, development, and cooperation across the region.
The delegation accompanying the Prime Minister included senior cabinet members and the Chief Minister of Balochistan. Upon arrival, he was received by the Chief of Army Staff, underscoring the close coordination between civilian leadership and military institutions in matters of national security.
