In a major initiative aimed at reducing unemployment and providing accessible job opportunities, the Sindh government has officially launched an advanced online job portal. This platform is designed to bridge the gap between job seekers and employers, offering employment opportunities across both government and private sectors.
The launch event was attended by Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, and other high-ranking officials. During the event, Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon highlighted the significance of this initiative, particularly in a country where 65% of the population comprises young people. The government hopes to empower youth by facilitating easy access to employment opportunities, helping them secure stable careers in various industries.
A Platform for Skilled and Educated Job Seekers
The newly launched job portal is designed to cater to a wide range of professionals, from skilled laborers to highly educated individuals. The platform allows job seekers to create profiles, upload CVs, and directly apply for openings that match their qualifications and expertise.
One of the key features of this portal is its dual-sector approach—it does not limit job seekers to government vacancies alone. A Step Towards Transparent and Inclusive Hiring
To ensure fairness and transparency in the hiring process, Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah announced that job vacancies for grades 1 to 4 would be directly available on the portal. Meanwhile, positions for grades 5 to 15 would be filled through IBA (Institute of Business Administration) testing. This step is aimed at eliminating nepotism and ensuring that government jobs are awarded based on merit and qualifications rather than favoritism.
Additionally, temporary job openings will also be posted on the portal, making it a comprehensive employment resource for both short-term and long-term opportunities.

During his address, Sharjeel Inam Memon pointed out that many young people in Sindh traditionally prefer government jobs due to perceived stability and benefits. However, he emphasized that the private sector offers immense potential for career growth. He also cited projects like the People’s Housing Scheme, which create opportunities for skilled workers, technicians, and laborers. By including both white-collar and blue-collar job listings, the portal aims to serve a diverse pool of job seekers across the province.
The government is actively working to promote this job portal to ensure maximum registrations from both employers and job seekers. This will enhance the platform’s effectiveness and increase the likelihood of successful job placements.
