Minister of State for Information Technology, Shaza Fatima Khawaja, hailed the satellite’s launch as a key moment for Pakistan’s National Space Policy, which aims to enhance nationwide connectivity, especially in hard-to-reach areas. Speaking at the official announcement, she emphasized that PakSat-MM1 directly addresses the country’s longstanding challenges of limited internet access in rural regions, where traditional telecom infrastructure has lagged behind.
