A statement has been issued after the National Security Committee meeting led by Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif. The committee declared Indian actions to be unilateral, unjust, and illegal, and ordered Indian defense advisors to leave Pakistan immediately, classifying them as undesirable.

According to private TV channel Duniya News, the meeting was convened to discuss Indian actions in response to the Pahalgam incident and was attended by senior civilian and military leadership. The committee reviewed the situation following the Pahalgam attack and expressed sorrow over the deaths of tourists. It stated that linking the Pahalgam attack to Pakistan is baseless and illogical. Important decisions regarding Indian actions were made during the meeting, including limiting the number of staff at the Indian High Commission to 30 and ordering Indian defense advisors to leave Pakistan immediately.

The National Security Committee has decided to close the Wagah border immediately and suspend all bilateral agreements, including the Shimla Agreement. Additionally, Pakistan has imposed restrictions on Indian airspace.
