Punjab education boards have issued a strict warning ahead of the annual examinations, stating that sharing question papers on social media is a serious criminal offense. Platforms such as WhatsApp, Facebook, and X are specifically mentioned under the Punjab University and Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education Malpractices Act, 1950.
Authorities have warned that violators could face up to three years in jail along with a fine of up to Rs50,000. Officials emphasized that mobile phones are strictly banned inside examination centers. Taking photos, recording videos, or digitally transmitting exam content is also prohibited.

The boards have urged students, teachers, and parents to strictly follow examination rules to ensure transparency and fairness. Strict monitoring teams will be deployed at exam centers to prevent cheating and maintain discipline throughout the examination process.
