Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), HJ, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) and Chief of Defence Forces (CDF), conducted a significant visit to Quetta, Balochistan, today.
During the visit, the Field Marshal was given a comprehensive operational briefing on the current security environment and ongoing internal security operations. The briefing detailed recent terrorist attacks, which were described as being orchestrated by Indian-backed, internationally-designated terrorists of Fitna al Hindustan. It was highlighted that the prompt and aggressive response by Pakistan’s security forces successfully thwarted attempts to disrupt the peace, stability, and development of Balochistan.
Discussions also focused on measures being taken to further strengthen the state’s writ and ensure the protection of the local populace and critical infrastructure.

The COAS & CDF stated unequivocally that no terrorist or their facilitator would be spared, emphasizing that all would be dealt with strictly according to the law. He remarked, “No one can rationalize violence and terrorism on any pretext.” He greatly appreciated the professionalism, valour, and sacrifices of officers and troops from all law enforcement agencies in countering anti-Pakistan designs and maintaining law and order.
Later, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, accompanied by the Chief Minister of Balochistan, visited the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Quetta. He met with injured personnel from the Army, Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan, and Police, lauding their high morale and bravery in defending the motherland against foreign-sponsored terrorism.
Upon his arrival in Quetta, the Field Marshal was received by the Commander of Quetta Corps.
