JazzCash has partnered with the Punjab Zakat & Ushr Department to digitize the distribution of financial assistance under the Chief Minister Punjab Rahmat Card initiative. The collaboration aims to make welfare payments faster, more transparent, and easily accessible for eligible widows and orphans across Punjab.
Under the new digital system, approved beneficiaries will receive their financial assistance directly into their JazzCash mobile wallets, eliminating the need for lengthy paperwork, physical cash distribution, and repeated visits to government offices. The initiative is expected to improve efficiency while ensuring that financial aid reaches deserving families safely and on time.
The CM Punjab Rahmat Card Program has been launched to provide financial support to Zakat-eligible widows and orphaned children, helping them meet essential household expenses and improve their quality of life. Each approved beneficiary can receive up to Rs. 100,000 under the scheme, depending on eligibility criteria established by the Punjab Zakat & Ushr Department.
Officials say the initiative is designed to promote financial inclusion, economic empowerment, self-reliance, and social dignity for vulnerable members of society. By using digital financial services, beneficiaries will also gain access to secure mobile banking solutions that can simplify future financial transactions.
