Once finalized, the law is expected to introduce stricter measures against online harassment, blackmail, and misuse of digital platforms.
The government is also planning to establish a Cyber Patrol Wing within Punjab Police, along with a Cyber Police Academy to train officers in modern digital investigation techniques. These initiatives will help law enforcement stay ahead of evolving cyber threats.
Furthermore, an advanced intelligence and monitoring system will be developed to track suspicious online activity and prevent crimes before they escalate.
