Punjab authorities launched a major province-wide traffic crackdown, resulting in over Rs 3.38 crore collected in fines within just 24 hours. The aggressive enforcement drive targeted key violations to improve road safety and reduce traffic-related incidents.
According to official data, more than 40,000 challans were issued across Punjab during the operation. Law enforcement also registered 344 FIRs and impounded over 6,700 vehicles for serious violations.
