In a significant recognition of his global intellectual and religious influence, renowned Pakistani Islamic scholar Mufti Taqi Usmani has been declared the second most influential Muslim personality in the world. The ranking was announced by Jordan’s Royal Islamic Strategic Studies Centre in its annual publication.

The list is topped by Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Emir of Qatar. In a separate but notable recognition, Pakistan’s former Prime Minister Imran Khan was awarded the “Personality of the Year” title.
The global influence list features other prominent world leaders and thinkers, including Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei, Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and fellow Pakistani scholar Maulana Tariq Jamil. Mufti Taqi Usmani’s high ranking underscores his profound impact as a jurist, author, and authority on Islamic finance and law, whose work resonates with millions of Muslims worldwide.
