The ranking was announced by Jordan’s Royal Islamic Strategic Studies Centre in its annual publication.

The global influence list features other prominent world leaders and thinkers, including Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei, Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and fellow Pakistani scholar Maulana Tariq Jamil.
