Authorities in Madinah have officially announced the updated schedule for visiting Riyaz-ul-Jannah (Rawdah) at Masjid-e-Nabawi during Ramadan 2026. The new timetable includes separate visiting hours for men and women and is divided according to the different Ashras (three ten-day periods) of Ramadan. The revised schedule aims to manage the large number of worshippers while ensuring a smooth and organized spiritual experience for all visitors.
For the first 20 days of Ramadan, which include the 1st and 2nd Ashra, specific time slots have been allocated for men and women. Men will be allowed to visit Riyaz-ul-Jannah during two daily periods: from 11:20 AM to 8:00 PM and from 2:00 AM to 5:00 AM. These extended hours are designed to accommodate the high number of male worshippers, especially during the busy Ramadan season.
Women visiting during the first 20 days will have separate timings. Their allocated hours are from 11:00 PM to 1:40 AM and from 6:00 AM to 11:00 AM. This arrangement ensures organized entry and a comfortable environment for female worshippers who wish to offer prayers in Rawdah, one of the most sacred areas inside Masjid-e-Nabawi.

During the last 10 days of Ramadan, known as the 3rd Ashra, the schedule changes slightly due to the increased number of visitors seeking Laylatul Qadr (the Night of Power). Men will have three available time slots: from 11:20 AM to 8:00 PM, from 11:00 PM to 12:00 AM, and from 2:00 AM to 5:00 AM. These additional hours are introduced to accommodate the significant rise in visitors during the final days of Ramadan.
For women during the last 10 days, only one designated time slot will be available, from 6:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Authorities have streamlined the schedule to maintain crowd control and ensure safety during peak days.
Visitors are reminded that advance booking through the official Nusuk app is mandatory. Each permit is valid once every 365 days, meaning individuals can book only one Rawdah visit per year. Entry to Riyaz-ul-Jannah will be through the southern courtyards opposite Gate 37, also known as the Makkah Gate. Worshippers are strongly advised to arrive 15 to 30 minutes before their scheduled time to avoid delays and ensure smooth entry.
