Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif is currently visiting Washington, D.C., to attend the inaugural meeting of the Board of Peace at the invitation of President Donald Trump. During his stay in Washington, the Prime Minister participated in high-level discussions and also held several informal and cordial meetings with world leaders attending the event.
On the sidelines of the Board of Peace meeting, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif met informally with several prominent global leaders. These included the King of Bahrain, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa; President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan; President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan; President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev of Kazakhstan; and President Prabowo Subianto of Indonesia. The meetings were described as friendly and positive, reflecting mutual respect and strong diplomatic ties between Pakistan and these nations.
