The Pakistan Airports Authority has decided to introduce modern passenger facilities at three major airports in the country, including Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad airports to enhance travel convenience and passenger experience.

Under the new plan, facilities such as chair lifts, cable cars, and zip lines will be installed to improve connectivity between terminal buildings and parking areas. The initiative aims to make passenger movement faster, more efficient, and more comfortable.

According to officials, the commercial wing of the Pakistan Airports Authority has already issued a tender for the project and invited interested companies to submit proposals. The development is part of broader efforts to modernize airport infrastructure and introduce innovative services for travelers.

Authorities stated that the project is not only focused on convenience but also aims to provide a unique recreational experience for passengers. The introduction of such facilities is expected to reduce walking distances, save time, and improve overall airport accessibility.

If implemented successfully, the initiative could mark a significant shift in airport design and passenger services in Pakistan, aligning the country’s aviation infrastructure with modern international standards.
