Pakistan has invited Saudi investors to explore opportunities in several major motorway projects, including the long-awaited M6 Sukkur-Hyderabad Motorway, as the government seeks foreign investment to strengthen the country’s transport and trade infrastructure.
The invitation was extended during a meeting between Pakistan’s Federal Minister for Communications, Abdul Aleem Khan, and Prince Mansour bin Muhammad Al Saud. The discussions focused on enhancing cooperation in road infrastructure and identifying commercially viable projects for potential investment.

Once completed, the M6 would provide uninterrupted motorway travel from Karachi to northern regions, improving cargo transportation, trade efficiency, and passenger travel. The project is expected to feature six lanes, modern tolling systems, advanced safety infrastructure, interchanges, and service facilities.
