Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz chaired the 34th Provincial Cabinet session, where several important public welfare and development decisions were approved to benefit citizens across the province. The meeting focused on agriculture, healthcare, sustainable transport, and financial relief measures aimed at improving the quality of life for the people of Punjab.

One of the key decisions included the approval of land schemes for farmers in the Cholistan region. The initiative is expected to support agricultural development, create economic opportunities, and help improve livelihoods in underserved areas. Officials believe the project will encourage farming activity and strengthen the province’s agricultural sector.

The cabinet also approved the launch of the CM Stroke Initiative, a healthcare program designed to provide timely medical assistance and improve emergency treatment facilities for stroke patients. Health experts have welcomed the move, emphasizing that rapid treatment can significantly increase survival chances and reduce long-term complications for patients.

In another major development, the government introduced a New Energy Vehicle Policy aimed at promoting environmentally friendly and sustainable transportation solutions. The policy is expected to encourage the adoption of electric and energy-efficient vehicles while reducing fuel dependence and environmental pollution across the province.

To provide direct relief to citizens, the cabinet also approved free motorcycle transfer facilities, particularly benefiting middle and lower-income groups who rely heavily on motorcycles for daily transportation and work-related activities. The move is expected to reduce financial pressure on thousands of vehicle owners.

The meeting reflected the provincial government’s broader strategy of combining social welfare with economic development and modernization. Officials stated that these initiatives are intended to provide practical, people-focused solutions while improving public services and infrastructure.

Observers believe the cabinet decisions demonstrate the Punjab government’s effort to address public concerns through targeted reforms and welfare-oriented policies. The initiatives are expected to have a direct impact on healthcare, transportation, agriculture, and daily living conditions for citizens across the province.
