The Government of Sindh has begun preparations to introduce a Youth Card aimed at creating new opportunities in education, employment, skills development, and sports for young people across the province.
The initiative is part of the provincial government’s broader strategy to empower youth and provide structured support to help them build successful careers.
High-Level Meeting at Sindh Secretariat
The decision was discussed during a meeting held at the Sindh Secretariat under the chairmanship of Provincial Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs, Sardar Muhammad Bakhsh Mahar.
Senior officials, including Sports Secretary Munawar Ali Mahesar, Director Asad Ishaq, Chief Engineer Muhammad Aslam Mahar, and other department representatives, attended the meeting. Officials briefed the participants on the initial framework and preparations for launching the Youth Card.
During the session, the Sports Department was directed to develop a comprehensive and effective implementation mechanism to ensure maximum benefits for young people across Sindh.

Launch Planned Before June
Sardar Muhammad Bakhsh Mahar stated that, on the special instructions of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party, the Sindh Youth Card is planned to be launched before June this year.
He emphasized that the initiative reflects the government’s commitment to investing in the province’s youth and equipping them with resources and opportunities for personal and professional growth.
Facilities and Benefits Under the Youth Card
According to officials, the Youth Card will provide access to multiple facilities and support programs, including:
- Educational assistance
- Skills development programs
- Employment opportunities
- Monthly stipends
- Scholarships
- Sports facilities and activities
The government aims to design the card in a way that ensures transparent distribution of benefits and easy access for eligible young individuals.
