According to the Edhi ambulance service, six bodies and 10 injured were first taken from MT Khan Road to Civil Hospital Karachi. Later, hospital officials confirmed that seven bodies and 18 injured individuals were brought to the trauma centre. Authorities said injuries were caused by firing, baton charges, and a stampede during the unrest.
Protesters had gathered near the consulate and attempted to move toward the premises, throwing stones. Police responded with tear gas and force to disperse the crowd. Rescue teams reported multiple casualties as the situation escalated in the high-security area.
