Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif held an important meeting with Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman in Jeddah to discuss regional developments and further strengthen the long-standing relationship between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. The high-level meeting took place in a restricted setting where both leaders exchanged views on key political, economic, and security matters affecting the region.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar and Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir were also present during the meeting. Their participation highlighted the importance Pakistan places on its strategic partnership with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

At the beginning of the meeting, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif conveyed his warm regards and best wishes to King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. He also thanked the Saudi leadership for the Kingdom’s continuous support to Pakistan during difficult times, including economic cooperation, humanitarian assistance, and development initiatives.
During the discussion, the Prime Minister reaffirmed Pakistan’s strong solidarity with Saudi Arabia. He emphasized that Pakistan values its deep friendship with the Kingdom and will continue to stand by Saudi Arabia in times of challenge.
Both leaders also reviewed the latest developments in the Middle East and the wider region. They agreed on the need for dialogue, cooperation, and collective efforts to promote peace and stability.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif assured Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman that Pakistan will remain a reliable partner of Saudi Arabia and will work together with the Kingdom to achieve shared goals of prosperity, security, and lasting peace in the region.
