With its startup accelerator program, xlr8, the GSMA Innovation Fund has collaborated with Jazz, the top digital operator in Pakistan, to find and assist high-potential firms. Emerging technologies in the fields of artificial intelligence (AI), healthcare, education, entertainment, and digital lifestyle are the main emphasis of this program. According to a press release, the partnership intends to promote innovation and have significant socioeconomic and environmental benefits.
Through this agreement, Jazz’s xlr8 program will use Jazz’s experience with digital platforms to help firms that have been nominated by the GSMA Innovation Fund. This comprises platforms that have introduced well-known in-house apps like SIMOSA and Tamasha, intelligent segmentation that gives access to Jazz’s 71 million users, and targeted coaching from Jazz subject matter experts.
Digital growth and data analytics, platform architectural knowledge, technological development, B2B assistance, and access to 18 million SIMOSA app users and 9 million farmers are examples of further help.
In order to ensure their scalability and sustainability, GSMA will continue to work with Jazz xlr8 to promote high-growth potential businesses.
