Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President and former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, accompanied by his son-in-law Ali Dar, met prominent members of the Pakistani and Emirati business communities during his visit to the United Arab Emirates.
During the visit, Nawaz Sharif was pictured with Naseer Lootah and his son Abdullah Lootah, Chairman of Summit Bank. Sources said the meetings reflected long-standing personal and business ties between the Sharif family and leading regional businessmen.
Nawaz Sharif also visited the residence of Sohail Galadari, owner of a local media house, to inquire about his health and extend best wishes for a speedy recovery. Over the four-day visit, he and Ali Dar met with several other business delegates.

Ali Dar, Nawaz Sharif’s son-in-law and the eldest son of Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, has been living between Lahore and Dubai since Nawaz Sharif’s last exile, which ended around three years ago. His younger brother, Hasnain Dar, has been running a business in Dubai for nearly two decades.
Sources emphasized that the UAE visit was private, with no formal political engagements. However, the meetings have drawn attention due to Nawaz Sharif’s ongoing relevance in Pakistan’s political sphere and his long-standing connections with influential business figures in the region.
