The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony is expected to begin accepting Hajj 2027 applications under the government scheme later this week, according to official sources.
The ministry is likely to formally announce the application schedule in the coming days, allowing thousands of aspiring pilgrims to begin the registration process for the annual pilgrimage.
To make the journey more affordable, the government is expected to introduce a two-installment payment plan for Hajj expenses. Under the proposed arrangement, applicants choosing the long Hajj package will be required to pay an initial installment of Rs. 500,000, while those opting for the short Hajj package will deposit Rs. 550,000 as their first payment.

Prospective pilgrims are advised to keep their travel documents, including valid passports, ready and closely follow updates from the Ministry of Religious Affairs regarding the application process.
