Saudi Arabia emerged as the largest contributor to Pakistan’s $3.6 billion in remittances received in December, according to official data.
The strong inflow from Saudi Arabia highlights the continued role of Pakistani expatriate workers in the Kingdom in supporting Pakistan’s economy. Remittances remain a key source of foreign exchange for the country, helping stabilize reserves and support household incomes.
