Multan International Airport has achieved a new milestone by handling 37 flights in a single day, marking its highest daily flight activity to date.
According to the flight schedule, 18 flights arrived and 19 departed from the airport during the 24-hour period on Wednesday.
Across Pakistan, airlines operated a total of 449 flights, while 68 flights were cancelled and another 112 experienced delays ranging from several minutes to several hours.
Major airports in Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad also recorded significant flight activity during the same period.

The new record highlights Multan’s growing air connectivity and rising passenger demand, strengthening the airport’s position as an important aviation hub for southern Punjab.
The increase in flight operations could further improve travel options for residents of Multan and surrounding districts while supporting regional tourism, business and economic activity.
