Beginning on Monday, August 19, 2024, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) will now offer apostille attestation services in Quetta and Gujrat. With the use of this service, applicants can confirm their papers without having to go to the ministry’s office by using approved courier services.
This service was previously limited to Islamabad, Lahore, and Karachi. Now that doorstep pickup and delivery are possible, residents of Quetta and Gujrat may now take advantage of this practical technique, which streamlines the document attestation procedure.
Associated Courier Companies
MOFA is offering Apostille attestation services through partnerships with five recognized courier firms. These businesses will gather the applicants’ paperwork, have the ministry certify to them, and then give the documents back to the applicants. The courier providers listed below have been approved to help with this process:
- International Gerry’s Pvt. Ltd.
- Courier Service Leopards Pvt. Ltd.
- M&P Express Logistics Pvt. Ltd.
- Excellent courier services (ECS).
- The TCS Pvt. Ltd.
Updated Fee Schedule (Going Into Effect July 2024)
As of July 8, 2024, MOFA has also revised the Apostille certification pricing schedule. The following are the fees:
- Documents related to education and personal life cost Rs 3,000 each.
- Legal Documents: Each document costs Rs 4,500.
- Commercial Documents: Each document costs Rs. 12,000.
The service costs that the courier firms charge are not included in these rates.
The addition of Gujrat and Quetta to the service area represents a major advancement in the accessibility of MOFA’s attestation offerings. Through approved courier services, residents in these locations may now simply complete the attestation procedure, guaranteeing a quick and easy experience.
