PM Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif met with several members of the National Assembly at Parliament House on June 13, where discussions focused on the federal budget, economic reforms, and public welfare initiatives.

During separate meetings with MNAs Abrar Shah, Saima Khalid, Shahida Rehman, Jamal Shah Kakar, Khurram Shehzad, Sardar Yaqoob Khan Nasir, Major (R) Tahir Iqbal, and Mian Khan Bugti, the lawmakers praised the prime minister’s leadership and described the recently presented federal budget as balanced and people-friendly.

The prime minister reiterated that the government’s foremost priority is to provide relief to ordinary citizens while ensuring that Pakistan’s economic stability is transformed into long-term and sustainable growth. He highlighted that the salaried class had been given the maximum possible relief in the budget despite fiscal challenges.

Shehbaz Sharif expressed confidence that tax incentives and other facilities introduced for the business community would encourage investment, stimulate economic activity, and contribute to national development. The prime minister also emphasized that the government remains committed to continuing reforms aimed at strengthening the economy and ensuring that the benefits of stability reach the public. He noted that economic progress must translate into tangible improvements in the lives of citizens.

The participating lawmakers expressed their full support for the government’s economic agenda and welfare-focused initiatives. Discussions also covered development projects and public issues related to their respective constituencies, with the prime minister assuring continued attention to local concerns and national development priorities.
